Lightfoot March to Further Corporate Education 'Reform'

The more things change the more they stay the same.
Mayor elect Lori Lightfoot ran as a so called 'progressive' with plenty of corporate cash.
And now she's beginning her education transition team with our old corporate reformers we thought were gone.
We got Kids First and Penny Pritzker, the darlings of Ren2010 and closing public schools and opening charter schools.
Her survey to beleaguered parents and others about the state of our public schools is fishing for the same answers Daley and Emanuel wanted to close schools.
How satisfied are you with the public school in your area regardless if you have a kid in the school, was one question. Everyone knows with this whole school choice that they will get plenty of answers to justify closing more schools.
Bottom line - corporations and billionaires like Pritzker pay politicians to lower their taxes while sending their kids to the top schools or private ones. Screw the poor people - they don't pay.
